Here’s Salus University – Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s (PCO) contestant, Leslie Gauntlett ’18 from Tyngsborough, MA.
Her hobbies include soccer, basketball games, and laughing.
Fun Fact: She’s broken every finger on her right hand, but she managed to still be right handed.
Her goal is to finally find a place she calls home and still be able to travel incessantly.
Warm welcome for Leslie, everyone!
The contestant from Salus University – Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) is Marshall Ward, Class of 2017. Marshall is from Southern Pines, NC. He has watched all of the Gilmore Girls 3 times and confessed that “It just keeps getting better.” When not laughing to his favorite show, Marshall enjoys Ultimate Frisbee, running, hiking, and basketball. In fact, his goal is to become best friends with Kobe Bryant. We wish him the best on the upcoming Varilux® Optometry Student Bowl™!
In the spirit of hometown legend Rocky Balboa, PCO’s Leslie Gauntlett rocked the ring to represent Philly in the Varilux Optometry Student Bowl.
“We would also like to thank the Pennsylvania Optometric Association for their tremendous contributions to the event, along with POSA and the Private Practice Club at PCO for their assistance with the event. We all worked very hard and are proud of the result,” said AOSA Trustee Brian Johnson. Special thanks to Emily Cardone for these photos!
